hey guys, sorry for the delay to the results being up as we have had no power all day and im totally *beeeep* from last night so have just woke up.
Firstly props to Thor and Charlotte for winning! The finals were really close, and hard work - 20pts from 1st and 2nd taking off own team tags! ...gutted.
Thankyou to Nate for making the trip to play! Reallt enjoyed playing with you mate, and even more so the drinking afterwards - that was awesome! Shame we were soooo close! But me and Charlotte will be over to the States for a tournament next year for sure! Email me the pictures when you get time, they were funny!
Thankyou to all who made the trip, the turnout was awesome and the games were really hard with the quality in the arena!
Im sorry we only had the 7.30m-11pm slot for the tournament: it ment that i had to try and fit a worthwhile tournament into such a short time slot that im not used too meaning i had no time to sort out fair packs for the finals which sucked.The computer didnt help either but we got there in the end! Alec and Steph you too were amazing as always, thankyou for helping me run the tournament i really apreciate it!
Anyway the results are here: the group stage consisted of 8 games, all 5 minute standard solos. All teams in at once, with the top 6 combined scores making it into the semis.

Viper: My individual vote would go to Tubski who I watched a bit when I was marshalling one of your games. There wasn't even a split second when his sensors were covered or I thought "does that count as a lean... is that too little movement..." - nothing. Very impressed.

Having not played at Guildford for ages I was a bit disappointed with the standard of the packs; the great majority I played with didn't have even one clip on, let alone two, and that's one of the few things that affects us AND affects the general public.
These things even out if you play enough games though and the tourney was a great laugh. So, many thanks Phil for sorting it out, and bring on next weekend!!
